FINGERHOLD CANDLESTICKS

Edition open-ended. A composition of interconnected forms. Cylinders meet. Our modern interpretation of a classic, practical design, the Fingerhold Candlesticks are grounded in a solid discus of remnant Black Walnut—each one unique—whose rivulets of wood grain flow across the circular surface. An asymmetrically set weighty solid brass cup is anchored back to the wood base with a delicate arc of brass.

All brass is unlacquered; a patina of use will develop over time unless polished. Holds candles up to 7/8” diameter.

 

Each candlestick is made entirely by hand in our Hudson Valley workshop by Michael.
